After a period of rapid company growth, Navicure, an insurance claims processing company, needed a more robust storage and disaster recovery solution. They chose Dell EqualLogic PS Series storage arrays because of their simplicity and the ease with which they could be integrated into Navicure's existing environment. Though they were employing outsourced storage, this new Dell solution allowed them to bring their storage in-house without adding a specialist to the IT staff. The iSCSI SAN allows them to use existing Ethernet and IP networks and capitalize on their familiarity with Ethernet technology.
Additionally, they deployed a disaster recovery solution using VMware Site Recovery Manager software and Dell EqualLogic SRM Adapters.
