Description:  The DSF15 is a highly integrated Data Service Framer device capable of mapping Ethernet traffic into OC-3/STM-1 SONET/SDH transport payloads. The DSF15 is equipped with 10/100 Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and maps frames into SONET/SDH lines at OC-3/STM-1. Ethernet over SONET/SDH (EoS) is supported through Virtual Concatenation (VC) with Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS), with simultaneous use of mixed High-Order (STS/VC paths) and Low-Order (VT/VC paths).
